The authorized regional archive center of the Beauce, managed by the Society of Beauce Historical is located in the 4th floor of the House of Culture.

A partner of the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ), the Beauceron Heritage Society owns several archival collections from individuals, families, organizations, social clubs, businesses and factories, most of which are accessible and can be consulted on our premises.

The Beauceron Heritage Society provides researchers with a wealth of documentation on the Beauce region: All municipal history monographs and valuable cadastral documents, as well as the largest collection of photos in Quebec and the newspapers published in Beauce, notably, La Vallée de la Chaudière, The Guide, Beauce Week-end, Beauce Média.

Built Heritage: In the early 1980s, the Beauceron Heritage Society completed an architectural inventory of the main buildings and the most beautiful houses in the Chaudière Valley, particularly the cities of Saint-Georges, Notre-Dame-des-Pins, Beauceville, Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, Saint-Frédéric, Vallée-Jonction and Sainte-Marie.
